Who likes to write? Many of my students admit that writing is painful, but what they fail to understand is that it is an important part of our culture and also the way we communicate many ideas and the things that are important to us.

Our written communication has been given a severe battering by the over-use of text messages, which just fosters a moronic use of the written language for little pleasure or sense, but it has caught on and will not likely disappear. It may become harder for these eager communicators to actually produce written language in the future, that actually makes sense, as they are at risk of losing the skill of writing intelligent sentences. How will their employers react to their shorthand - who knows? Maybe they will not lose their skills and everything will be fine.

Today's post is not really about how our language is being degraded, although I think it's an important topic. Today's message is that anyone can use their written communication skills to become a publisher and pass on their knowledge and skills, so that others can benefit.

You can write articles and get paid and you can also get paid to blog. You can also take the next step and create your own Kindle book and sell it on Amazon. It really is easy to apply what you know or learn a little more, and use your written skills to earn a little more income - in some cases, a LOT OF INCOME!
