Are you ready to do battle? When you read the assignment question you are being invited to do battle and it's a battle you can win if you prepare adequately and if you understand the rules. In order for you to win this game you must address the ground rules.

The Keywords of the Topic

Not only must you understand the question you must know the meaning of the keywords and ideas. Their are process keywords, that tell you what to do and their are content keywords that tell you about the topic. If your knowledge of these is poor then you must start by researching the meanings of the keywords and deepen your understanding.

Your Arguments and Your Solution

By completing your research and your notes you are now in a strong position to become an expert on the topic and offer a solution. If you don't feel like an expert then your research and note making are poor and you should continue to gather information about your keywords and the topic so that you feel you are an expert.
